For any fixed path, we take all values on that path and compute their greatest common divisor. Different paths can produce different GCDs because they include different sets of cells. The task is to determine the maximum GCD that can be obtained over all valid monotone paths.
A useful way to reframe this is that we are selecting a connected “staircase” path from $(1,1)$ to $(n,m)$, and we want the largest integer $g$ such that there exists at least one path where every visited cell is divisible by $g$.
The constraints matter because there can be up to $10^4$ test cases, but the total number of cells across all tests is at most $2 \cdot 10^5$. This immediately rules out anything that recomputes path DP per candidate value or per path explicitly. A solution that tries all paths is exponential in $n+m$, and even a DP that tracks GCD states per cell would be too large if it redundantly recomputes per divisor.
A subtle edge case appears when the grid has many small values that share different prime factors. A naive greedy path that always picks the neighbor with larger value can fail badly because GCD is not monotone in value.
A second non-obvious failure case is when the optimal GCD path must deliberately pass through smaller numbers to preserve divisibility structure. For example:

The brute-force idea is straightforward: enumerate every monotone path from top-left to bottom-right, collect its values, compute the GCD, and track the maximum. The number of such paths is $\binom{n+m-2}{n-1}$, which grows exponentially even for moderate grids. For a 100x100 grid, this is astronomically large, so direct enumeration is impossible.
A more structured brute-force observation is to think in reverse. Suppose we fix a candidate value $g$. We can mark all cells divisible by $g$, and then ask whether there exists a monotone path using only marked cells. This is a standard reachability DP. If such a path exists, then $g$ is feasible.
This transforms the problem into: find the largest $g$ such that the grid restricted to multiples of $g$ still contains a valid top-left to bottom-right path.
The key insight is that we do not need to try arbitrary $g$. Every valid answer must divide the value at every cell on the chosen path, in particular it must divide both endpoints of every substructure induced by the path. This suggests working directly on GCD states rather than guessing $g$.
Instead of fixing $g$, we propagate possible GCDs along paths. At each cell, we maintain the set of all possible GCDs achievable by any path reaching that cell. Transitioning from a neighbor, we take the previous GCD and combine it with the current cell value. Because GCD strictly decreases or stays the same, the number of distinct values per cell remains small in practice and bounded by number theory properties (each step can only introduce divisors of the current value).
This turns the problem into a DP on the grid where each state is a set of GCD values.

Algorithm Walkthrough
We compute, for every cell $(i,j)$, the set of all GCD values achievable by any valid path from $(1,1)$ to that cell.

The DP invariant is that at every cell $(i,j)$, the stored set contains exactly all possible GCDs of valid monotone paths from $(1,1)$ to $(i,j)$. The forward transition preserves correctness because extending a path by one cell only affects its GCD through a single $\gcd$ operation with the new value. No other property of the path matters. Since every valid path must come from either the top or left neighbor, merging those two sets exhausts all possibilities.
The final cell aggregates all valid path summaries, so the maximum element among them is the best achievable GCD.

Edge Cases
