Approaches
The core idea is to stop thinking in terms of edges and instead reason about vertices and parity constraints induced by paths.
Each query contributes a simple path between two vertices. Think of each chosen path as a set of edges being toggled. We want every edge to be toggled an even number of times. This is equivalent to requiring that the symmetric difference of all chosen paths is empty in edge space.
A useful re-interpretation is to root a spanning tree of the graph. Any simple path in the graph can be decomposed into tree edges plus cycles, but cycles do not matter for parity if we fix a basis. Instead of directly working in arbitrary graph space, we can compress behavior onto a spanning tree and treat every edge as representing a unique cut in the tree.
Now the key observation: each query path flips parity along exactly the edges that lie on the unique tree path between its endpoints, plus possibly additional cycle edges, but those cycle contributions can be made irrelevant by consistent routing. The problem reduces to selecting tree paths whose XOR sum over edges is zero.
This becomes a classical parity balancing problem on a tree: each query corresponds to toggling all edges along a path between two nodes. We need all edges toggled an even number of times.
We transform this into vertex parity constraints. Instead of tracking edges, we consider marking endpoints. A path between a and b contributes a +1 at both endpoints in a certain cut-based interpretation. The global condition reduces to ensuring that every vertex has even degree in the multiset of chosen endpoints when projected appropriately.
The crucial simplification used in the intended solution is to process queries in pairs implicitly. If we maintain a DFS ordering on a spanning tree, each edge corresponds to a segment boundary in Euler tour space. A path update becomes a range toggle on this structure. The feasibility condition reduces to all prefix parities being zero, which is equivalent to requiring that the multiset of query endpoints has even frequency under a certain lifting.
When this condition fails, the deficit is exactly the number of vertices with odd demand in the induced endpoint parity system, and each added query can fix at most two odd vertices. This directly gives the minimal number of extra queries as half of the number of odd vertices.
Once feasibility holds, we construct paths greedily using DFS: we maintain that each vertex has a pending parity requirement, and we pair up these requirements along tree edges, pushing unmatched endpoints upward. Each time we match two pending endpoints in a subtree, we output the corresponding path.
This greedy pairing works because a tree has no cycles, so any imbalance must be pushed through edges, and every edge sees an even number of demands if the system is feasible.

Algorithm Walkthrough
We first build a spanning tree of the graph, because any simple path can be represented consistently on a tree without losing parity control.
We then interpret each query as a demand placed at its endpoints. Each vertex maintains how many times it appears as an endpoint across all queries. Only the parity of this count matters, because even occurrences cancel out in pairs.
Next, we check how many vertices have odd endpoint frequency. If this number is nonzero, the system is not directly solvable. Each additional query contributes two endpoints, so it can reduce the number of odd vertices by at most two. Therefore, the minimum number of extra queries required is the number of odd vertices divided by two.
If the system is feasible or after hypothetically fixing it, we proceed to construct actual paths.
We root the spanning tree anywhere, typically at node 1, and run a DFS. Each node maintains a list of “unpaired” query endpoints that lie in its subtree. When we return from children, we merge their lists into the current node.
At a node, whenever we see two unpaired vertices, we connect them using the unique path in the tree between them. That path is reconstructed by parent pointers. This pairing is emitted as one query path in the answer set.
If after processing children a single unpaired vertex remains, we push it upward to the parent, since it must be paired outside the subtree.
Finally, when DFS ends at the root, all vertices are paired, ensuring that every edge in the tree has been traversed an even number of times.
Why it works is that the DFS enforces local conservation of parity. Every subtree resolves its internal demands before interacting with the rest of the tree. Since each pairing consumes exactly two endpoints, and all unmatched endpoints are pushed upward, an edge is crossed only when an odd number of endpoints exist in its subtree, which never happens in the final valid configuration.
