Approaches
The brute force idea is straightforward. We try every pair of vertices i and j, interpret them as a chord, split the polygon into the two vertex chains induced by that chord, and compute the diameter of each chain by checking all pairs of vertices inside it. Since each diameter computation is O(k^2) for a subpolygon of size k, this becomes O(n^4) in the worst case if implemented directly, which is far beyond feasible.
We can improve this in two steps. First, we observe that the diameter of any convex polygon is achieved by a pair of vertices, so we only need distances between vertex pairs, not arbitrary interior points. Second, for any fixed interval of consecutive vertices, we can maintain its diameter incrementally: when extending an interval by one vertex, we only need to compare the new vertex against all previous ones in the interval.
This leads to a dynamic programming formulation where we precompute, for every interval [l, r], the maximum distance between any pair of vertices inside it. Once we have this table, the diameter of any candidate subpolygon can be answered in O(1). The second subpolygon is also a consecutive chain, but it wraps around the array, so we handle it by duplicating the vertex sequence.

Algorithm Walkthrough

After this, dp[l][r] gives the diameter squared for any contiguous segment.
The second challenge is that cutting the polygon creates a wraparound segment. To handle this, we duplicate the array, forming P' of size 2n. Any cyclic segment from j to i (wrapping around) becomes a contiguous segment in P', specifically [j, i+n].
