Algorithm Walkthrough

The core idea is to process each query of type two by analyzing the structure induced by $d = \gcd(k, m)$. All values split into $d$ independent cycles, each of length $m/d$. Each array element lives in exactly one cycle and can only move within it.

If at any point no value in the current cycle exceeds the previous chosen value, then no rearrangement of operations can repair the violation, since all remaining reachable values are strictly smaller in cyclic order or would require a wrap that breaks monotonicity.

Edge Cases

A key edge case occurs when $k$ shares a large gcd with $m$, producing very short cycles. In such cases, even small arrays can become impossible to sort because each element has only two or three reachable values.
