Problem Understanding
Each vertex of the tree initially contains exactly one ant.
A move chooses an edge $(u,v)$ and orders all ants currently gathered at $u$ to move to $v$. The ants obey only when the destination already contains at least as many ants as the source. If the move happens, the group at $u$ disappears and its ants are added to $v$.
The question is whether there exists some sequence of valid moves that eventually gathers all $n$ ants into a single vertex.
The input is a tree with up to $200,000$ vertices. A quadratic or even $O(n \sqrt n)$ solution is already dangerous at this scale. We need something close to linear time, possibly with logarithmic factors coming from sorting.
The tricky part is that feasibility is not determined only by subtree sizes. The order of merges matters. A node may be able to absorb several neighboring components if they are processed from smallest to largest, but fail if a large component must be absorbed too early.
A common mistake is to look only at the final sizes of components. Consider:

If we try to gather everything at vertex 2, the component on the right has size 2. Vertex 2 starts with only one ant, so it cannot absorb that component immediately. The correct strategy is to first absorb vertex 1, increasing the count at vertex 2 to 2, and only then absorb the size-2 component. Any solution that ignores merge ordering gives the wrong answer.
Another subtle case is a star:

The answer is YES. Vertex 1 can absorb each leaf one by one because every leaf has size 1. A naive rule such as "the center must already be at least as large as every neighboring component" would incorrectly reject this case.

Approaches
A brute-force idea is to try every vertex as the meeting point and explicitly simulate all possible merge orders. For a fixed root, every neighboring component can be merged only after it has gathered internally, so we would need to explore many possible orders. The number of states grows exponentially and becomes completely infeasible long before $n=200000$.
The key observation is that once a component has successfully gathered into its attachment vertex, only one number matters: its size.
Suppose a vertex wants to absorb neighboring components with sizes
$$s_1,s_2,\dots,s_k.$$
The vertex starts with one ant. If we process the components in increasing order, that order is always optimal. Absorbing a smaller component earlier can only help.
After sorting, let the sizes be
$$s_1 \le s_2 \le \dots \le s_k.$$
The merge succeeds iff before every absorption the current number of ants is large enough.
If the current amount before processing $s_i$ is
$$1 + \sum_{j<i} s_j,$$
then we need
$$s_i \le 1 + \sum_{j<i} s_j.$$
This condition completely characterizes whether a vertex can gather all adjacent components.
Now view every directed edge $u \to v$. Remove the edge. The side containing $u$ is a component. Define a directed DP state:
The state is valid if that entire component can gather into $u$.
The validity of $u \to v$ depends only on the validity and sizes of the neighboring components attached to $u$, excluding the side containing $v$.
This turns the problem into a rerooting DP on a tree.
The remaining challenge is checking the sorted-size condition efficiently for every possible excluded neighbor. A direct recomputation for every edge would be quadratic. The crucial optimization is to precompute, for each vertex, the effect of removing any one neighbor from the sorted list.

Algorithm Walkthrough
Precomputation of component sizes
For every directed edge, we need the size of the component on that side after removing the edge.
Root the tree at vertex 1.
For a child $v$ of $u$, the component size of $v \to u$ is simply sub[v].
For the opposite direction $u \to v$, the size is n - sub[v].
Computing merge feasibility from sizes
For a sorted sequence
$$b_1 \le b_2 \le \dots \le b_m,$$
define
$$d_i = b_i - \sum_{j<i} b_j.$$
The merge condition is equivalent to
$$\max_i d_i \le 1.$$
This follows directly from requiring that the current amount of ants is large enough before every absorption.
Efficiently removing one neighbor
For a vertex, let the neighboring component sizes be sorted.
If we remove the element at position $k$, then every later prefix sum decreases by $b_k$.
For indices after $k$,
$$d_i' = d_i + b_k.$$
Using prefix and suffix maxima of the original $d_i$, we can compute in $O(1)$ whether the merge condition remains valid after excluding any specific neighbor.

Why it works
For every directed edge state, the DP exactly represents the statement:
"The entire component on this side of the edge can gather into the endpoint."
A component can gather into a vertex only if every neighboring component attached to that vertex can first gather into its own attachment point. That is exactly what the incoming DP states encode.
After those neighboring components are available, only their sizes matter. The sorted-size condition is both necessary and sufficient for the vertex to absorb them all.
The bottom-up pass computes all states directed toward the root. The top-down pass supplies the missing parent-side information. After both passes, every directed edge state has been evaluated correctly.
A vertex is a valid meeting point precisely when every incident component can gather toward it and it can absorb all of them. The algorithm checks exactly that condition.

The first DFS computes parent relationships and subtree sizes. Those sizes determine the size of every directed edge component.
The next stage processes each vertex independently. After sorting neighboring component sizes, it builds the $d_i$ array and precomputes the merge condition both for the full neighbor set and for every possible excluded neighbor.
The down DP evaluates directed states toward the root. A state is valid only when all required child states are valid and the size condition holds.
The up DP supplies the missing information from the parent side. Instead of recomputing validity from scratch for every child, it uses the precomputed exclusion results and a count of invalid incoming states.
The implementation never uses recursion, which avoids recursion-depth problems on trees with $200000$ vertices.

The DP additionally checks whether the size-2 side can itself gather into its attachment point. It cannot, because that side contains a component of size 2 that cannot be formed starting from one ant.
The final answer is NO.
This example demonstrates that local size checks are not enough. Neighboring components must themselves be gatherable.
