Problem Understanding
We have n people placed on a line at strictly increasing coordinates. PMP starts at person s, which immediately counts as visited. Every later move must go either strictly left or strictly right, depending on the ticket used for that move.
A left ticket allows moving from a larger index to a smaller index. A right ticket allows moving from a smaller index to a larger index. PMP has exactly l left tickets and n - 1 - l right tickets, and every person must be visited exactly once.
The task is to minimize the total traveled distance and also output one optimal visiting order.
The first important observation is that the direction constraints apply to every individual move, not to the overall tour. PMP may alternate between left and right many times as long as the ticket counts match.
The coordinates are sorted and can reach 10^9, so distances must be stored in 64-bit integers. The number of people is up to 10^5, which immediately rules out anything quadratic. A dynamic programming solution over intervals with O(n^2) states would already be too large both in memory and time. We need something close to linear or O(n log n).
A subtle part of the problem is feasibility. Not every pair (l, s) allows visiting everyone.
Suppose n = 5, s = 1, l = 2.

From the leftmost position, there is no person further left. A left ticket can never be used. The correct output is -1.
A careless solution may only check whether the total number of tickets equals n - 1, which is always true, but that ignores positional constraints.
Another easy mistake is assuming that minimizing total movement means always visiting the nearest unvisited person. Consider:
n = 5, s = 3, l = 2
x = [0, 1, 100, 101, 102]
Greedily going to the nearest side first gives:
100 -> 101 -> 102 -> 1 -> 0
distance = 1 + 1 + 101 + 1 = 104
But a better route is:
100 -> 1 -> 0 -> 101 -> 102
distance = 99 + 1 + 101 + 1 = 202
Actually this example shows something deeper: ticket constraints can force expensive jumps later. Local greedy decisions do not control future direction availability.
Another dangerous corner case appears when one side has very few nodes.
n = 6, s = 2, l = 4
There is only one node to the left of s, so at most one left move can happen before all left-side nodes are exhausted. Any valid solution must revisit the right side in between and carefully spend tickets. Naive simulations often get stuck because they consume all usable moves on one side too early.
The real structure of the problem comes from understanding what a valid sequence of directions looks like.
Approaches
The brute-force idea is straightforward. We can try every permutation of the remaining n - 1 people, check whether each move direction matches the available tickets, and compute the total distance.
This works because the constraints are small conceptually: every valid tour is simply an ordering of the vertices. The problem is the number of permutations. Even for n = 15, we already have roughly 10^12 possibilities.
A more refined brute-force uses DP over subsets:
dp[mask][last][left_used]
This tracks which people were visited, where we currently are, and how many left tickets were consumed.
The transitions are correct because every move depends only on the current endpoint and move direction. But the state count becomes enormous:
2^n * n * n
Even n = 25 is impossible, while the real limit is 10^5.
So we need to exploit the geometry of the line.
The key observation is that the exact order inside each direction class barely matters. What matters is how many times we switch sides.
Suppose we are currently at some position. If we move right multiple times consecutively, the cheapest possible way is visiting right-side nodes in increasing order. Any skipping would only create unnecessary backtracking.
Similarly, consecutive left moves should visit nodes in decreasing order.
That means every optimal solution has a very rigid form. The path alternates between taking the nearest unvisited node on the left and the nearest unvisited node on the right. The only real choice is which direction to take next.
Now consider the ticket counts. Let:
L = l
R = n - 1 - l
Every left move decreases the current index, every right move increases it.
Starting from s, after all moves:
final_position = s + R - L
Since all visited indices must stay within [1, n], we get the feasibility condition:
1 <= s + R - L <= n
Substituting R = n - 1 - L:
1 <= s + (n - 1 - 2L) <= n
which simplifies to:
s - 1 <= L <= n - s
This condition is also sufficient.
Once feasibility holds, the optimal strategy becomes surprisingly simple. We should always alternate directions whenever possible. Long jumps happen when we move from one side of the current visited interval to the other. Alternation minimizes these jumps because it keeps the current position near the middle of remaining nodes.
The optimal construction is:
left, right, left, right...
or the symmetric version starting with right, depending on ticket counts and availability.
Each move always takes the nearest unvisited node in that direction.
This gives a linear-time construction.

Algorithm Walkthrough
- Read
n,l,sand the coordinates array. - Compute the number of right tickets:
r = n - 1 - l
- Check feasibility.
A left move decreases the current index. Since there are only s - 1 people left of the start, we cannot use more than s - 1 left tickets.
Similarly, there are only n - s people to the right, so we cannot use more than that many right tickets.
If either condition fails, print -1.
- Maintain two pointers.
L starts at s - 1, the nearest unvisited person on the left.
R starts at s + 1, the nearest unvisited person on the right.
- Build the move sequence greedily.
Whenever possible, use the direction with more remaining tickets. This keeps the tour balanced and prevents being stranded on one side later.
If we take a left move, append L to the answer and decrement L.
If we take a right move, append R to the answer and increment R.
- Continue until all
n - 1moves are constructed. - Compute the total distance by simulating the produced order.
Start from s.
For every next person v:

Why it works
At every moment, the cheapest node reachable with a left move is the nearest unvisited node on the left. Any farther choice skips a closer node and forces an additional crossing later, which only increases total distance.
The same argument holds for right moves.
So the only meaningful decision is the sequence of directions. Using too many consecutive moves in one direction pushes the current position toward an extreme endpoint, making the next opposite-direction jump expensive. Alternating as much as possible minimizes these cross-interval jumps.
The feasibility condition guarantees that every required directional move can always be performed without running out of nodes on that side.
Because every move is locally optimal and the direction pattern minimizes future crossing costs, the resulting tour is globally optimal.

The feasibility check is the first subtle part. A left ticket requires an actual node to the left of the current position. Since indices strictly decrease during left moves, we can never use more than s - 1 such moves overall.
The construction keeps two moving boundaries around the start position. Every left move consumes the closest remaining left node, and every right move consumes the closest remaining right node.
The implementation stores node numbers using 1-based indexing because the output format requires it. The coordinate array itself remains 0-based, so every access uses v - 1.
Another easy mistake is computing the distance incrementally during construction. The current location changes after every move, so the safest approach is building the full order first and then simulating the path once afterward.
All arithmetic involving distances uses Python integers, which naturally support 64-bit ranges.
