Why it works
Every subarray is uniquely represented by a pair of prefix indices, and XOR equality depends only on the difference of those prefix states. By grouping subarrays by XOR value, we reduce the problem to detecting duplicates in a structured set. Since intervals are explicitly stored with endpoints, we never lose ordering information, and disjointness can be verified locally within each XOR bucket. Any valid solution must appear inside one of these buckets, so scanning all buckets is sufficient to guarantee correctness.

Edge Cases
A minimal input where the array has only one element cannot produce two disjoint segments, and the algorithm correctly never forms any bucket with at least two valid intervals.
