The constraints are large: up to 200,000 nodes and 200,000 queries, with values also up to 200,000. Any solution that processes each query by traversing subtrees directly is immediately infeasible. A single DFS per query would cost O(n) each, leading to O(nq), which is completely impossible at this scale.
Even storing frequency arrays per query is too slow if we rebuild them from scratch. We need a method where subtree frequency aggregation is reusable and queries are answered in near logarithmic or polylogarithmic time.
A subtle point is that subtree overlaps are not arbitrary. Since subtrees are defined by ancestry, overlap happens exactly when one query node is an ancestor of the other, which affects counting multiplicities but does not complicate structure beyond that.

A brute-force solution recomputes the answer per query by traversing both subtrees, counting frequencies in a hash map, and then scanning the map for the maximum frequency. Each query costs O(size of subtree u + size of subtree v). In the worst case, both subtrees are size O(n), so the total becomes O(nq), which is far beyond any feasible limit.
The main structural insight is that subtree queries on a tree become much easier when we linearize the tree using an Euler tour. Each subtree becomes a contiguous segment in an array. Then each query becomes two range frequency queries on this Euler array, with overlap handled by adding contributions.
Specifically, we reduce the problem to answering queries over an array where we need the most frequent value in the union of two ranges, with multiplicity doubling on intersection. The overlap is exactly the intersection of two segments, so we can express the answer using inclusion-exclusion over frequencies, but that still requires range frequency queries, which are nontrivial.
