One non-obvious edge case occurs when every student can attend both selected days.

After assigning all forced students, the only remaining task is balancing the group sizes. If neither forced side already exceeds $n/2$, the flexible students exactly fill the remaining vacancies because every student belongs to one of the three valid categories. Hence a valid partition exists.

Checking every day pair guarantees that if any feasible schedule exists, one of the examined pairs will discover it.

Many incorrect solutions try to compute the exact number of flexible students assigned to each side. That is unnecessary. Once neither mandatory side exceeds half of the students, the flexible students can always fill the remaining places.

The algorithm uses only a few counters and scans the student list at most ten times per testcase.
