For a fixed root value $T$, we would propagate money down the tree, splitting equally among currently unmet children, updating states until stabilization.
Even if one simulation can be made linear in the number of nodes, repeating it for each node while searching for the minimal $T$ leads to a complexity of roughly $O(n^2)$ or worse. With $n = 3 \cdot 10^5$, this is completely infeasible.
The key observation is that the process is monotonic in the initial money: if a node is satisfied for some $T$, it remains satisfied for any larger $T$. This allows us to reinterpret the problem as finding thresholds on a monotone system.
The second structural insight is that the redistribution depends only on subtree states and not on arbitrary global interactions. Each node effectively behaves like a function that maps required child satisfactions into a scaling factor of how much input is needed.
Instead of simulating forward from the root, we reverse the reasoning. We compute, for each node, how much input is needed at that node for it to satisfy its own demand and propagate enough excess to satisfy all children. This turns the process into a bottom-up dynamic computation over the tree.

- Simulate a greedy accumulation: maintain the current amount of available input and repeatedly decide which child becomes satisfied next, updating the effective divisor as the number of remaining active children decreases. This produces the minimal input needed at $u$ to satisfy all children plus its own requirement $m_u$.
- Once $dp[u]$ is computed for all nodes in a bottom-up order, compute the answer for each node using a second DFS from the root. Why it works
At any node, the only structural choice affecting flow efficiency is the order in which children stop participating in splits. Once a child is satisfied, it no longer dilutes incoming money. This creates a monotone decreasing system of divisors. The greedy ordering ensures that at every stage we minimize the remaining dilution factor as quickly as possible, which directly minimizes total required input. Because the process only depends on the set of unsatisfied children, and this set shrinks monotonically, the local greedy choice composes globally across the tree.
