- After processing the swap, replace dist with ndist. This advances time by one step.
- After all swaps are processed, dist[i] contains the answer for position i. Any position still at infinity is unreachable, so we output -1.
The key idea is that each swap induces either a free transition along its endpoints or a paid “stay” transition. We never need to branch over subsets explicitly because cost accumulation encodes all choices.
