- After BFS completes, count all cells that were ever reached under any valid configuration.
Why it works
The grid can be seen as a graph where edges have asymmetric costs: left edges consume from a tight budget while right edges consume from another independent budget. Vertical edges are free. The algorithm maintains dominance between states: if one way to reach a cell uses fewer left moves while not being worse in right feasibility, it strictly dominates all other ways.
