Each participant has a stream of submissions across up to 20 problems. Every submission has a timestamp and a result. Only the earliest successful submission for each problem matters for scoring. If a problem is never solved, it contributes nothing.
For a solved problem, the score contribution is the number of minutes from contest start to the first accepted submission, plus 20 minutes for each earlier non-CE incorrect submission on that same problem. Compilation errors are special because they do not add penalty, while all other wrong results do.
The participants are ranked first by how many problems they solved, then by total penalty, and finally by lexicographic username order.
After ranking, we do not simply print the list. We must insert exactly three dividing lines labeled GOLD, SILVER, and BRONZE. These lines define contiguous segments of the ranking. The top segment is gold medalists, followed by silver, then bronze, and finally non-medalists.
The number of medalists is constrained by proportions of the total participants. At least 10 percent must be gold, at least 30 percent must be gold or silver combined, and at least 60 percent must be gold, silver, or bronze combined. Among all valid ways to choose cut positions, we prefer minimizing gold first, then silver, then bronze.
The constraints make it clear that a full simulation is required but heavily optimized work is unnecessary since m is at most 2000 and t is at most 200000. Sorting submissions dominates the complexity, which is fully manageable.
A few pitfalls matter in practice. First, submissions are not ordered, so processing in input order would miscount penalties because wrong attempts must be counted only before the first AC in chronological order. Second, CE submissions do not contribute to penalty, which is easy to accidentally include. Third, time must be converted carefully into minutes using floor division. Finally, medal segmentation is uniquely determined by lexicographic minimization of group sizes, which is easy to misread as a greedy thresholding problem but is actually deterministic once constraints are interpreted correctly.
Approaches
A brute force simulation would attempt to process each submission per participant and per problem, repeatedly scanning earlier submissions to determine whether an AC is the first and how many wrong attempts occurred before it. This can degrade to repeatedly sorting or rescanning logs for every participant-problem pair, leading to roughly O(m · t²) behavior in the worst case. With 2000 participants and 200000 submissions, this is far beyond what is needed.
The key observation is that each participant-problem pair evolves independently, and only the earliest AC matters. If we sort all submissions by time once, we can process them in chronological order and maintain state incrementally. Each pair stores whether it is already solved and how many penalty-relevant wrong submissions have occurred before solving. This reduces the entire system to a single linear scan over sorted submissions.
Once scores are computed, ranking is just sorting participants by a fixed key. Medal assignment becomes a deterministic partition problem: compute minimal valid prefix sizes that satisfy the percentage constraints.

Algorithm Walkthrough
- Parse all submissions and convert timestamps into total seconds from the start of contest time. This allows correct chronological ordering independent of input order.
- Sort submissions by timestamp. If timestamps are equal, the order between them does not affect correctness because submissions at the same second never conflict for repeated submissions per participant.
- Maintain for each participant and each problem a state consisting of whether it is already solved, and how many penalty-contributing wrong submissions occurred before solving.
- Scan submissions in time order. For each submission, ignore it if the problem is already solved for that participant.
- If the submission is a compilation error, skip it entirely since it does not contribute to penalty.
- If the submission is a wrong answer, time limit, memory limit, or runtime error, increment the wrong attempt counter for that participant-problem pair.
- If the submission is accepted and the problem is not yet solved, mark it as solved. Record the solve time in minutes and compute penalty as solve_time_minutes plus 20 times the number of previously counted wrong attempts.
- After processing all submissions, aggregate results per participant: count solved problems and sum penalties over all solved problems.
- Sort participants by decreasing solved count, then increasing penalty, then lexicographic username.
- Compute medal cut sizes. Let g be the smallest number of participants in gold such that g is at least ceil(0.1m). Let s be the smallest number such that g + s is at least ceil(0.3m). Let b be the smallest number such that g + s + b is at least ceil(0.6m). These choices ensure minimal lexicographic medal allocation.
- Output participants in order, inserting GOLD after the g-th, SILVER after the next s, and BRONZE after the next b.
Why it works
Processing submissions in sorted order guarantees that when we encounter the first AC for a problem, all earlier submissions affecting penalty have already been counted. This makes the wrong-attempt counter exact at the moment of solving. Because we never revisit earlier events, each submission is processed once, and each problem is finalized once per participant, preserving correctness and efficiency simultaneously.
