For every poison type, a fruit can either contain that poison, contain the antidote for it, or contain neither. Importantly, a fruit never contains both poison and its antidote for the same recipe.
The interaction happens in two phases. First, a fruit is chosen to be eaten as the initial one. If it contains poison recipes, those become the active poison state. Any antidotes in that same fruit do not help at all at this moment.
After that, Non-Um continues eating fruits. Each next fruit can only be eaten if it contains antidotes for all currently active poison recipes. When such a fruit is eaten, the antidotes are applied and immediately clear the current poison state, but they do not persist. If the same fruit also introduces new poison, that new poison becomes the new active state after the antidote step is resolved, potentially forcing further eating.
Eventually, the goal is to reach a situation where no poison is active anymore after some sequence of fruit consumption. The total cost is the sum of weights of all fruits eaten after the initial poisoned fruit. The first fruit is chosen by Nu-Kee among all fruits that contain at least one poison, and she tries to force the largest possible minimal recovery cost. Non-Um then plays optimally to minimize her additional consumption.
If no fruit contains poison, the answer is simply zero.
The main difficulty comes from the fact that the poison state is a subset of at most 19 recipes, so it can be represented as a bitmask. This immediately suggests a state graph over at most 2^19 states.
The constraints are large: up to 80,000 fruits, and up to 2^19 possible poison states. This rules out any solution that attempts to simulate transitions per fruit per state directly in a naive way. Any solution must aggregate transitions efficiently over subsets of bitmasks.
A subtle edge case is when a fruit introduces poison and also contains antidotes that partially overlap future requirements. Another is when a fruit has no poison, which effectively acts as a terminal recovery option.
Approaches
A brute-force interpretation treats every state as a bitmask of active poisons. From a state S, we try every fruit f that is compatible, meaning S is a subset of f’s antidote mask. If compatible, we transition to a new state equal to the poison mask of f, and pay cost w_f. Running shortest paths from each initial state would give the answer.
This is correct but completely infeasible. Each state has up to N outgoing checks, and there are 2^19 states, leading to about 80,000 × 524,288 operations, which is too large.
The key observation is that transitions depend only on two masks per fruit: its poison mask P_f and antidote mask A_f. Once a fruit’s best continuation cost from P_f is known, its contribution to any state S becomes a function of whether S ⊆ A_f. This transforms the problem into a repeated query over all fruits: for each state S, we need the minimum over all fruits satisfying S ⊆ A_f of (w_f + dp[P_f]).
This is a classic superset-subset DP structure over bitmasks. If we could maintain, for every antidote mask A, the best fruit value, then queries over supersets of S could be answered with a standard SOS DP. The difficulty is that dp[P_f] changes during computation, so values must be updated dynamically.
This is resolved by running Dijkstra over states. Each time a state is finalized, dp[S] becomes fixed. We then update all fruits whose poison mask is S, recomputing their contribution w_f + dp[S], and pushing updated values into a structure indexed by antidote masks. This allows us to maintain a global structure over antidote masks and answer “best compatible fruit” queries for each state.
This leads to a graph search over 2^S states with carefully maintained aggregated transitions over fruits.

Algorithm Walkthrough
We represent each poison/antidote configuration as bitmasks of length S.
1. Precompute masks
For each fruit we compute:
- P_f: poison bitmask
- A_f: antidote bitmask
- w_f: weight
Fruits with P_f = 0 are handled specially as potential terminal states.
2. State definition
We define dp[S] as the minimum total additional weight needed to fully recover starting from poison state S.
Our goal is to compute dp[S] for all S, then evaluate:
for each fruit f with P_f ≠ 0, candidate answer = dp[P_f], and we take the maximum over all such fruits.
3. Reverse dependency structure
Each dp[S] depends on transitions through fruits:
dp[S] = min over fruits f with S ⊆ A_f of (w_f + dp[P_f]).
So each fruit contributes a value that depends on dp[P_f], and applies to all states S that are subsets of A_f.
4. Dijkstra over states
We run a shortest path process over states S:
- Initialize dp[S] = ∞
- Start from all S that correspond to “already fully healed” situations (handled via fruits with P_f = 0 or transitions leading to empty state).
- Use a priority queue over states.
When a state S is finalized, we process all fruits f such that P_f = S. For each such fruit, we now know dp[P_f], so we compute its contribution value:

We then insert or update this fruit in a structure indexed by its antidote mask A_f.
5. Query mechanism over antidote masks
We maintain an array best[A], storing the minimum val_f among fruits with antidote mask exactly A.
To answer a state S, we need:
min over all A ⊇ S of best[A].
This is a superset query over bitmasks, which is answered using a standard SOS DP preprocessing over best.
After each batch of updates, we rebuild or incrementally maintain the superset DP so that queries remain valid.
6. Answer extraction
For each initial fruit f with P_f ≠ 0, the cost is dp[P_f]. Nu-Kee chooses the worst such fruit, so we take the maximum dp[P_f].
If no fruit has poison, output is 0.
Why it works
The algorithm separates decisions into two layers: the global structure of poison state transitions, and the local compatibility constraint imposed by antidotes. Every fruit contributes exactly one transition rule, and that rule applies uniformly to a whole family of states defined by subset inclusion. The DP ensures that once a state’s optimal recovery cost is fixed, it is never improved again, so fruit contributions become stable and correctly propagate through the superset structure.
