  6. For each r, we move l forward until the condition cntEdges(l, r) = r − l becomes valid and stable. In practice, we maintain the smallest l that satisfies validity and observe that valid starts form a contiguous suffix ending at r.
  7. Once we know the valid range [L[r], r], we update DP using prefix sums:

To support fast range sums, we maintain prefix DP arrays.

Why it works
