The process continues as long as the active unit is still alive and there remain other units. In each step, the active unit may face any remaining opponent, and we are allowed to assume the sequence of opponents is chosen in the most favorable way. The question is whether there exists at least one choice of starting unit and at least one ordering of its opponents such that all units, including the starting one, eventually die.
The constraints allow up to 100000 units, with attack and health values up to 1e6. This immediately rules out any solution that simulates fights pair by pair or tries all permutations. Even O(n^2) reasoning per candidate becomes too slow, so any viable solution must reduce the problem to aggregate computations per unit.
A subtle failure case appears when one tries to simulate fights greedily. For example, assuming the active unit should always fight the weakest opponent first can be misleading, because a weak opponent with high attack can be more dangerous than a strong opponent with low attack. Another failure mode is assuming that survival depends only on total damage received without considering whether the active unit can actually complete all kills before dying mid-process.
The correct model must capture both “how long each fight lasts” and “how much damage is taken during that time,” while still remaining order-independent in a useful way.
Approaches
A direct brute-force approach would try every possible starting unit and, for each, simulate all permutations of remaining opponents. In each simulation, we would run the fight process step by step. Each fight may take up to O(1e6 / atk) rounds, and in the worst case there are O(n) fights per permutation. The number of permutations makes this completely infeasible.
The key observation is that once the starting unit is fixed, each opponent contributes a fully determined cost to the starting unit, independent of ordering, as long as the starting unit survives long enough to reach that fight. Each opponent j requires a fixed number of attack rounds determined by how many hits of the starting unit are needed to kill it. During each of those rounds, the starting unit receives damage equal to the opponent’s attack. This means each opponent contributes a deterministic total damage cost against the starting unit.
The ordering issue becomes simpler than it first appears. The total damage taken is fixed regardless of order, and the only real constraint is whether the starting unit survives long enough to complete all fights. Since survival depends only on cumulative damage, any ordering that does not exceed the health at any prefix is valid, and such an ordering exists exactly when the total damage does not exceed the starting unit’s health.
This reduces the problem to evaluating a closed-form expression for each possible starting unit.

Algorithm Walkthrough
