We are simulating an online programming contest scoreboard that evolves over time as submissions arrive. Each submission belongs to a team, targets a problem, arrives at a timestamp, and is either accepted or rejected. From this stream of submissions, we must answer queries about the state of the contest at arbitrary times.
The core hidden object is a dynamic leaderboard. For every time moment, each team has a score defined by the number of solved problems and a penalty time. Solved problems are counted first, and ties are broken by penalty, then by team id. Penalty for a solved problem is its first accepted time plus 20 minutes for every wrong submission made on that problem before the first accepted one. Once a problem is accepted, later submissions to that problem are ignored for all statistics.
Beyond ranking, we also maintain several prefix-like statistics over time. For a given time threshold, we may need the number of ACs for a specific problem, the number of submissions for a problem, or how many teams have solved exactly a certain number of problems.
Each query is evaluated on the prefix of submissions with timestamp less than or equal to the query time, and the scoreboard is considered fully built after applying all those submissions in batch order, not incrementally per submission timestamp order in the input.
The constraints define the real difficulty. The number of teams is at most 500, and the number of problems is at most 13, so any per-team or per-problem bookkeeping is acceptable. However, the number of submissions can reach one million and queries up to one hundred thousand, so recomputing the full leaderboard from scratch per query is infeasible. Any solution that rebuilds rankings or rescans all submissions for every query would exceed time limits by orders of magnitude.
A subtle issue is that submissions are not guaranteed to be sorted by timestamp, so we cannot process them in input order. Another important edge case is that multiple submissions at the same timestamp are considered simultaneous, so all of them must be applied before evaluating the scoreboard at that timestamp. This prevents incremental ranking changes inside the same timestamp block.
A naive mistake is to recompute full ranking for each query independently. With 500 teams, computing a full ranking costs about O(n log n) or O(n p), and doing this 100k times is already borderline, but the real cost is recomputing all statistics from scratch over up to 1e6 submissions each time, which is impossible.
Another subtle pitfall is misunderstanding “first AC only counts”. For example, if a team has AC at time 10 and later submits again, those later submissions must not affect penalty or counts. Ignoring this leads to incorrect penalty accumulation.
Approaches
The brute force idea is straightforward: for each query, filter all submissions with timestamp ≤ t, replay them in chronological order, rebuild every team’s state, recompute rankings, and answer the query. This works logically because it exactly follows the contest rules, but it is too slow because each query may require scanning all m submissions. With q up to 1e5 and m up to 1e6, this leads to 1e11 operations, which is far beyond feasible limits.
The key observation is that the number of distinct timestamps is at most m, and all queries depend only on prefix states. If we sort submissions by time, we can process them once in increasing timestamp order, maintaining a fully updated scoreboard incrementally. After processing all submissions with the same timestamp, the scoreboard becomes a stable snapshot for that time. We can store these snapshots or at least store enough summary information to answer queries offline.
Since n is only 500 and p is only 13, maintaining full per-team state is cheap. The real challenge is ranking and answering historical queries efficiently. Instead of recomputing ranking per query, we recompute ranking per timestamp snapshot, and we only do it when state changes.
We can compress time into distinct submission timestamps and maintain a list of “events”, each event being a state after processing all submissions at that time. Each query can then be answered by binary searching the last event with timestamp ≤ query time.
For ranking-based queries like minrank and maxrank, we maintain per team an array tracking its rank over time across snapshots. For submission-based queries, we maintain prefix arrays over snapshots. For teamcount, since n is small, we can recompute or maintain histogram of solved counts per snapshot.
The crucial trick is that recomputing ranking is cheap because n ≤ 500, so O(n log n) per snapshot is acceptable if we do it only up to m snapshots. However, m is large, so we avoid recomputing ranking for every submission; instead we recompute only when needed for snapshots, which are effectively bounded by distinct timestamps.

Algorithm Walkthrough
We first group all submissions by timestamp. This ensures that all operations occurring at the same time are applied together, matching the problem rule that simultaneous submissions are processed as a batch.
We sort the timestamps and process them in increasing order. At each timestamp group, we apply all submissions: updating per team per problem state. For each problem, we track whether it has been solved, how many wrong attempts occurred before the first AC, and the AC time. This allows us to update score and penalty in O(1) per submission.
After applying a full timestamp group, we recompute the full ranking of all teams. Ranking is determined by sorting teams using (solved count descending, penalty ascending, team id ascending). Because n ≤ 500, this sorting is fast enough.
We then store a snapshot containing, for that timestamp, all derived data needed for queries: each team’s rank, each team’s solved count, each problem’s total AC count and submission count, and a histogram of how many teams solved k problems for k from 0 to p.
We also store per-team rank history over time so minrank and maxrank can be answered by scanning or maintaining running minima and maxima per team.
Once preprocessing is done, each query becomes a lookup. We binary search the last snapshot with timestamp ≤ query time and extract the required statistic from that snapshot.
For teamstatus, we output rank, AC pattern string, and dirt rate computed from stored per-team per-problem counters. Dirt rate is computed as sum of wrong submissions over solved problems divided by total submissions on solved problems; if no solved problems exist, we output N/A.
For minrank and maxrank, we directly return stored per-team historical extrema up to that snapshot index.
For account and submitcount, we directly read per-problem prefix counters from the snapshot.
For teamcount, we read histogram value for the required solved count.
Why it works is that every snapshot fully represents the contest state after a prefix of submissions. Since all queries only depend on prefix states, no query ever needs information from inside a timestamp group or between snapshots. Ranking correctness is preserved because we recompute ranking exactly after each state change batch, and all future queries only query these consistent states.

Edge Cases
One important edge case is multiple submissions at the same timestamp. If a team receives WA and AC at the same timestamp for the same problem, both must be applied before evaluating ranking. The algorithm handles this by grouping by timestamp and processing all submissions in the same batch before recomputing ranks.
Another edge case is querying at a timestamp before any submissions. In that case, all teams are tied on zero solves and zero penalty, so ranking is purely by team id. Since we always initialize solved counts to zero and recompute rankings even for empty state, the first snapshot correctly reflects this initial ordering.
